Green boxelder burl

Been a while since I have posted a pen. Nothing special, just a nicely figured green dyed boxelder burl freebie from BB.

That looks great...I found I don't like the original Sierra pens (too much pastic)...but the Black TI looks great with any wood or PR.

The original Sierra doesn't have plastic, it is powder coated brass. I had an engraver engrave a rose in that part for a pen I made for my wife on Valentine's Day.

Back on topic, nice pen, gotta love those freebies!

The last green boxelder I got was turquois instead of green when I turned it. Yours is gorgous. I happen to love the sierra's. Great pen.
