I had mentioned in one of my threads in the Casting forum that I was traveling to Boston for the weekend and someone else mentioned that it should be fun with the Bruins win last week. We got up there Friday and enjoyed some sightseeing followed my a very thorough pub crawl and dinner in the north end (along with some AMAZING dessert from Mike's Pastries). As it turns out however the highlight of the weekend was Saturday morning. That's when they were having the Rolling Rally (victory parade) to celebrate the Bruins' stanley cup win. This was truly an amazing sight. They estimated over 1.5 MILLION people in a two-mile stretch of road. Crowds close to the Garden (the beginning of the route) were 25 to 50 people deep! Anyway, we ended up getting a great spot close to the street (and in the shade) and enjoyed celebrating with all of the local fans. It was amazing how well behaved everyone was and how nice everyone was to each other considering the VERY close quarters.
