This one has a little twist.

An Esterbrook renew point nib (9048 Fine Flexible) with a threaded converter conversion. Gray alumilite for the grip section and finials.

Lovely pen !!! . Very classy, indeed !!!

What threads did you use for cap to body (triple start?) and section to body, please

Darrin, it depends on the fit of the threads. I spent a fair amount of time on the threads making sure the cap was smooth while the section to body was a bit snug.

However for pens like my double ended Hydra, I have a left hand thread tap and die for the front sections so they can't get stuck way up in the cap.

Hey Carl, that pen is very nice. I really enjoy the inspiration I get from viewing (and studying) your work.

I have some material that looks like what you used. It is in hollow rod form. Is this pen made from solid or hollow rod. If hollow, I am wondering what you did to plug the ends? Did you try to match the rest of the blank, or go with a contrast material?

Yes, it's hollow rod. I'll plug the ends with whatever material I use for the grip section typically.

Some pens it's just black ebonite. This one was some gray and silver alumilite.
