My grand father in law was apparently a pretty avid collector of non rare English coins. The cool thing is some are from 1800 something. I thought it would be neat to cast a couple of these on blanks but some are pretty thick. I know you are supposed to sand them down but how do you do that without sanding your fingers down too?

Don't worry Andrew and John

These are historical in name alone. As a trained Archaeologist the first thing I did was have them checked out. Apparently this english king guy REALLY liked seeing his face on a coin and was a prolific printer of coinage. I had them looked at by a respected coin guy and he said they were worth like a dollar or two because there are so many in existence. I am not worried about these going into a pen. Just think it would be neat.

My GFIL did have a few rare coins and they are in a safe deposit box.
