Got tired of waiting...

Well i made 2 of my new pen kits, that came today from craftsuppliesusa. My timberbits stuff still hasnt showed up Well the jr gent chrome is pink ivory and sierra is tulipwood.
O and i think this site made me think this way, but when i was at cross country practice i was running along a canal and my friend almost stepped on a small rattlesnake, and the first thing that popped up in my head was "that would make a nice pen"

Lol...just don't let a potential pen put you in the hospital! And don't be too discouranged about your timberbits order. I had a long wait for mine but it paid off in the end. Nice pens btw, nice fit. What finish did you use?

I used CA, 5 coats thin accelerator inbetween and then mm and hut plastic polish.

Turning does have a way of making you looking at everything a little different ("I wonder what kind of figure is in that wood", "I wonder how those would look cast and turned", etc.)

The pens are beautiful, and I guess that buzz worm was lucky you were running , I stopped two lanes of traffic to get me a copper head, fortunately I'm too old and crippled to run and neither can the Copperhead<LOL>
