this is the result of the acrylic i tried tonight. graduation gift for my fiance. she's just completed physical therapy school! violet pearl (doesn't look so violet in the pic) in a sedona.

thanks to everyone for their input regarding acrylic turning... it was an interesting project. ended up using a half from one blank and a half from the other due to drill problems. good thing i had two!

and here's the same exact pen, except with silver instead of gold, that sean alexander posted the other day! weird how us penturners are on the same wavelength sometimes...
