Decided to practice with some casein blanks before I tried it on a Tuscany from Classic Nib. These are real casein, not faux, and they turn like butter :big grin: - pun intended!

I made a matching rollerball and fountain pen using Marksman Eagle pen kits.

C & C appreciated.

really great looking pens...I understand that you have to be careful with a casein pen because it will stain easily especially from any ink you might get on your fingers. Are these just polished or have you put a finish on them??

I've only seen these blanks once in person. You really did them justice! Give yourself a big pat on the back!!

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate the kind words and encouragement.

Rich, I checked the threads here on IAP before I turned these to see how best to finish them. These are MM to 12,000 then scratch remover and polish applied.

Jim Burr, I'm getting too old to pat myself on the back. If I tried that I wouldn't be able to turn pens for a week!

My pleasure, Rich. There is a LOT of information in the different threads here on IAP.

Good luck!
