Last Saturday I got married.
I run a machine shop and also my woodworking shop here at home.
The new ring took a beating, so she requested I make a supplementary one to replace the gold one for work.
I got it done.

Congratulations on both getting married and the ring!

You've already gathered the true meaning of marriage ie "happiness is a quiet wife" !

wishing you a long and prosperous life together.

Sucker.... I mean congratulations! No seriously, congrats. I've been happy with my marriage for a lot of years. I wish you the same!

The ring looks great, too. I take mine off when I'm working so I don't scratch the work. As a bonus, the ring doesn't suffer, either. I just don't leave home without it or there could be trouble.

I wore mine faithfully until it got to the point that I could not take it off due to swollen joints, then it went into my wife's keepsake box. She understands why I can not wear it as she has a similar issue just not as bad.

Congratulations on your new life and new wife.

I try to make it a point to always take my ring off in the shop in order to leave with the same number of fingers that I came in with.

Bill
