Got a little board yesterday

So I was in the garage/shop doing a little organizing last night when a buddy called and wanted to come check out my stash of pen blanks. I guess the stylus pen I made him is a big hit at his work (AT&T). A couple of the other guys want one but wanted to know their options for wood. A while back I had bought some random project kits from PSI....notably the fire starter striker. So my buddy sees them in my kit drawer and says he just has to have one so I said sure pick out a blank and we'll crank one out real quick. As he was searching through the bins and totes of wood I came across some nice whitetail deer antlers I had. Well to make a long story short....this is what we ended up with. C&C welcome!!!

Cool. What's up with the logo on it? Is that a branding iron?

Very cool... I used to have one like that.. had a hole drilled in the end, and a strip of leather and some sort of a blade for scraping the magnesium and using the striker

Yes it is....I sprung for that branding iron to do pen boxes when the guy that did my laser etching got sick.

Yeah...this one had it in the kit but my friend wasn't sold that he wanted them on it
