It's a model G1019, 14" saw w/a 3/4hp motor. Guy is asking $150. I believe the manufacture date is 1993. Saw looks (in the pics) to be in good condition. Does anyone have any feedback on the older Grizzly saws? I know many here love the G0555 - this one looks to be quite similar, with a smaller motor, and no miter fence. It does have the enclosed cabinet base though. Kind of a cross between Grizzly's 2 current lower line saws, the G0555 and the one below it. Not sure of the blade guides, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

It must be discontinued. That early a model and smaller motor, I would be cautious, especially without an in-person inspection. Grizzly hurt their reputation with some early products and shoddy quality control. I'll bet it didn't cost much more than the $150.00 in 1993. Be cautious, you will have expenses. e.g. guides, fence, who knows what else.

I have the GO555 and love it. It wa also marketed as having features foud only on larger saws like roller guides that I expect make it beter than most 14"saws. i cannot say anything for or against other grizzly tools but $150 simply says you get what you pay for to me. That would simply be my reaction if I where looking to buy it and proceed accordingly. i woudl simply have doughts about the deal until I was able to convince myself otherwise. of course I got a thousand dollar sharpening machine for 25 bucks from a garage sale to. But then i knew exactly what i was looking at.

Same thing Daniel said. I love my Grizz. Maybe it has some extras worth the money. Do as much research as you can. Even contact the seller if possible.
