Hello,

I am interested in getting a powder coat rig.
I would like to be able to coat tubes and also clear coat cartridge pens.

What is a good entry level, easey to use system? I allready have an air compressor, so it wouldn't have to be one of the Craftsman style guns. (though I am not opposed to that system if it is what is recomended)

Thanks for any input!!!
Steve

I just bought the Harbor Freight coater and it seems to do well. I'm sure there are better machines out there but this seems to do what I want it to do which is casings and just misc. small parts.

HF is good for the PC gun, especially when on sale for around $40. But I would suggest getting your powders from one of these sources:

I own and use the H.F. coater and it does just fine for me.
Thier powder is priced right if you are just coating the brass tubes for color matching to the blanks.I use the same powder under my snake skins as well, seemes to hold up to the PR.
