I had solicited help over in the SWFlorida forum, with a frame for a Leaded Glass piece that Susanne has. Mike(bluwolf) rose to the challenge and, offered to help. I went to his house with the glass and, Mike fixed me up with a nice frame made from a piece of Oak I picked up at HD.

While I was there, I learned how to drill and, thread some blanks for kitless pens and, Mike made a couple of mandrels for me on his metal lathe. Way much more than I had asked for. It WAS a good day.:biggrin: THANKS Mike!

Thank you for sharing Chuck. That just goes to prove my hopes these past years, that wonderful and giving people are still alive and well. Way to go Mike.

Wow...Thanks, but it wasn't that big of a deal. It was a good day. We had beautiful weather. We got together and did a little flat work, a little lathe work. Got to make stuff in wood, plastic and metal. I think most people here would say it doesn't get much better than that.

Good timing too. Because that night I woke up with a killer toothache and the next morning I was getting a root canal:beat-up: Talk about having good days and bad...
