Drilled it out to fit the clicker trimmed it to length.

Awesome, that refill extender is my only dislike with that kit, as I've already lost one. Did you purchase the bushing?

The ED Classic has the Schmidt mechanism without the extended..the barrel is longer. Also a nice kit.

Yes 19 cents at local Ace Hardware. 3/16" O.D. x 1" long. I just got the one with smallest hole and drilled out to fit.

That's the way it should have been from the beginning. !!

I'm almost willing to bet that PSI will modify the design eventually .... but not holding my breath.

Same thing was true with Woodcraft/Berea Sierra pen. They ultimately shortened the body to eliminate the extender.

Before they figured it out, I shortened the body while making it.
