Hi Guys and Gals,
I made this one about 12 months ago and have been asked to show the finished item.

The blank was sent from South Australia to Canada and was rejected by their Quarantine people. It was returned to George and he eventually received the shipment 8 months later.

I obviously purchased the blank and this is what I did to it, or with it, whatever you prefer.

The finished size was approx 7.5in X 2in polished with Shellawax Glow. It was sold at our club Exhibition in September 2012 for $40.

C&C Welcome.

Bob.

Well done Bob,

That is a beautiful piece of wood, and the fill in the worm holes really sets it off. I think it would be worth way more than $40, and not just because it is a world traveller that made the postal companies a bunch of money.

Great job all around! I love the how you made the worm holes POP with the contrasting fill color.
