Thought I would try to turn something different for a change. Basically, a ball. a Golden Resin Hybrid Burl Sphere.
I started with a square piece of Coolibah Burl Live Edge Form and cut a circular piece with my bandsaw and circle cutting jig.
Sealed with epoxy and Alumilite White Pearlescent Powder. Placed in a cylinder and cast usin Alumilite Clear Slow Resin in pressure pot.
Turned sphere by using marking off divisions of the cylinder. Hand sanded and buffed.
Looked nice and had fun making ribbons.
Hope all of you are safe and healthy!
Kind Regards,
Doc:)

Reminiscent of a Snow Scene ,far too beautiful to have snow in and may I say the utterly most perfect of circles I have ever seen, with superb transparency.Be safe my friend ,kind regards.
