Gold Sierra with Unknown Wood - Help!

I bought a box of assorted blanks a few months ago - all unlabled! I think it might be Zebrawood but not sure - any body have any ideas?

Ditto on the bocote. Did it kind of smell like pickles when you turned it? That is a dead giveaway for bocote.

Nice timber, good finish great job, never worked with Bocote, but eaten lots of pickles!

Nice work. No doubt bocote wood. It's no fun sanding or tasting the dust but sure has great character.

OK guys - I'm going with bocote - I pulled out a bocote pen I made a couple months ago and yep - Its bocote!
Strange I didn't smell or tast pickles!
