Getting ready for SWAT

Been trying to get ready for SWAT this year. Our club is one of the clubs that help out making the table decorations for the Saturday banquet. This years theme is boxes. A sampling of the ones I've completed so far. The woods are Mesquite, Sweet Gum, Cherry Deer Antler and they all have Mahoney's Oil as the finish. The one I finished today, the wife said no dice for the banquet table, she may be right... we will see. It may have to go into the gallery and I may even attempt to sell it!! O well, "It's Five O'clock Somewhere". The inlay is watch parts encased in UV resin.

Those are really well done. I suspect a bunch would be good sellers. If your wife favors the 5 o'clock somewhere.. I fully agree - excellent artistry.

Nice Bobby! I am with your wife on this one - they are all beautiful, but the 5 O'clock one is pretty exceptional!

I really like them all but I think my favorite is the cherry with the deer antler. The engraving or burning on the end of the antler is a nice touch. The sweet gum box reminds me of the stack of frogs tattoo my wife has.
