Good to share time together. They grow up too fast. Mine are both in their 40s.
My son is 50.... in about 2000 or 2001, my wife told him I wanted a lathe for Christmas, he bought me one and we played with it all afternoon in the garage... he decided it was so much fun, he went out and bought himself one... he gave it to me a few years ago, so I now have 3 lathes, one big one and two smaller ones.... he bought a friends that was retiring and now has a bigger and better lathe than me.
And while he was laid off last year, my stepson thought he would give turning a try... in pretty short order he did about 50 pens.... he's a truck driver and back working now, so no time to turn..... he's 57.
