My area, northwest of Atlanta about 25 miles) was not hit at all.
I heard that Eatonton took a big hit. Andy, knowing the affinity storms have for mobile home parks, how did you fare?

I'm just a little north of Cartersville and we got hit pretty hard. No damage at my place thankfully, but the power kept flashing off and on which is always kinda freaky. I stepped outside about 10pm after the first round went through and couldn't believe how warm and muggy it still was... Right then I knew it wasn't over yet. It all finally ended around there about 12:30am. Glad to hear that you faired okay. This weather we're all having is crazy!

We are ok. I did stay in the basement until about 2 am. Lots of damage around us, but no visible damage around the house. Lots of trees and junk floating in the lake. Madison got smacked really hard.

Alabama was hit hard also. Tuscaloosa through Birmingham have extensive damage and fatalities related to this, so far 150+ fatalities. It was just north of us in Shelby County.

I am between Suwanee and Cumming....I watcht the online radar a lot during storms. Severe weather was east and west of us. We somehow split a seam down the middle. Didn't even get any rain to speak of.

However, my thoughts are with those who suffered material loss and loss of life. It was bad across the MS, AL, TN and GA

Glad to hear you guys are OK. Been out of turning for awhile, but hearing of the storms to the south, wanted to check in and check on everyone.

Glad to hear so far so good, hope any of our other turners down south are ok as well!

God Bless!

Dennis
