A good friend requested a Black and Red pen to remind him of U of GA and he selected the Comfort in Rhodium. He's been carrying the skinny Cross pen for as long as I've known him. I contacted Jonathon about a blank, sent him som $$ and told him to surprise me with whatever else the $$ would buy. I received the box this week, but due to work was unable to get into the shop until today. Here's the result. I think my friend will like it.

I painted the tubes and reverse painted the blank with red spray paint. Finished to 12k mm, then the Beall's White Diamond and Wax.

Earl, you had me worried for awhile. I've been checking this forum all day, wondering if you were going to post this weekend or not. I almost went to bed without seeing your latest creation....and its a beauty. Just goes to show that a lowly Comfort pen can be Majestic with the right blank and the right person to pull it all together.
