The wife has been wanting a pen with a wrap called the Divine Shield. She now has one on a George II pen in antique brass. Now I have a chance of not sleeping in the shop for a change.
Those wraps are really time consuming. Beautiful work.
How do you hide or end the wraps at the end of the blank? Rod building has the ends covered with another wrap around the blank and trimmed.
Beautiful Pen, Ted.
Glorious Wrap Pattern, so Intricate, and Well Executed.
Excellent Choice of Hardware,
That should certainly earn you plenty of "Brownie Points"
Congratulations,
Brian.
Very cool and perfectly done. When I see these wrapped pens I just shake my head, coz I know that I would never have the patience to even try.
Well done !!
Thank you all. The only bad thing about me posting these pics are that if you see me using one of my blanks, it's because it has a flaw and I won't sell it. Most of the ones I use for pens are ones that were a first time to wrap in that particular pattern. I use that first one to find out what changes I need to make for it to work on a pen tube instead of a fishing rod. Thanks for the kudos y'all, they are appreciated.
