Hey all,
Recently I was lucky enough to win one of George's great contests. Since I still had some of George's blanks from some recent orders I decided to let George pick the blanks for me. He was a little hesitant as he wanted me to choose the blanks I wanted.

After explaining that I would be ok with whatever he sent me, he relented and picked the blanks for me.

As you can see, George followed his rule of 3rds when choosing the blanks and I am not disappointed at all! He sent me a great variety of blanks including some cool Resifills.

Thanks, George!

G'day Doug,

Thank you for the "plug", most appreciated.

Some of you may be wondering why I cut the square corners on some blanks, well, they were the heavier blanks on that lot and I was over by about 120gr on the shipping optimum weight charge so by removing the square corners on those heavier blanks, I made it well under the desired weight, saving considerable dollars.

Yes, I prefer that you guys pick your blanks, everyone has different tastes and I like to play it safe, however, when I'm given the responsibility to make the selection, I make sure I don't leave you guys short of the offered value. All the blanks I selected are top grade and some of the more sourced blanks I have but sometimes I like to add some blanks that aren't well known for whatever the reason and as you can see, I added 2 raw wood blanks that were mot from my stables but exotic blanks that I purchased to satisfy some requests I had from a fellow that has turned every blanks from my stables and he likes also to turn some of my exotic blanks from my private collection that I'm letting go bit by bit as I will never used them.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some of those turned into pens...!

Cheers
George
