gents snakewood

gents snakewood with 5 coats of ca this pen is sold but it wont go to customer untill it cracks. all comments and critiques welcome.

Man that's a good looking pen. If it hasn't cracked yet, why did you assemble it? I figured you would just leave it on the tubes, let it sit around till it cracks, put it back on the mandrel then perform damage control.

I may be confused though, I haven't bothered to turn one yet.

I do have some snakewood now and like other people recomended, drill add the tubes but not glued them, turn it and let sit in the shevles until he crack them CA turn back again you got a good tutorial on Yahoo penturners have a look

That is a beautiful pen, I've often wondered why some or most snakewood pens crack. I've got a snakewood pen I turned 5 months ago and it hasn't cracked yet anyone taking bets on when it will?
