Ok, so I couldn't resist the rebel side of me. This blanks started off grey and ended up making for a deep south theme.

I used about 1/4" of Holly for the center band and a satin finish kit which looks pretty good with this pen.

I hate to admit that I really have no clue what the blank was but it had a gray appearance. I would love to find more of them like it.

Very nice pen. Great looking color combination.

But for some reason I was expecting an orange pen with a "01" decal.

I too was expecting a "fattie" orange pen with black numbering.......but was pleasantly surprised with this. You did a great job matching wood color with kit color, something not everyone can do so easy. Keep up the good work!
