Looked in the kit reviews and did not see any review on this kit. I have a customer that is into auto racing and I thought i would try making this kit for him. Never tried it because I am not into gimmick pens. But those that have made this kit, what is your opinion and are there any do's and dont's ??? Thanks in advance. If i do make one I will give a full review.

I've built one. Have a couple kits waiting to be done. It seemed of good quality and smooth. Didn't have any issues either.

I have a couple and have no issues with them. I made one for myself and usen it every day for the past couple of months. It is a bit heavy, but I like big pens. It is as solid as the bolt actions.

I'll join the parade here. I've made 2 of them. They are solid and straightforward. I put the flames laser inlay kit on them and they looked really good. Made one for my son who is a car guy and one for my grandson who gets his license next month. They loved them.

Thanks all for the replys. Good to hear there is no real issue with them. As I said I do not use gimmick pen kits such as those bolt action but I will give this a try. The pen I want to make him is quite involved and I am just not up to that quite yet. If he has any problems with it he can always return it to me. I see him often enough. Will post my finds as I said.
