Gator jaw Jr. Retro

Got this Gator blank from Tom Barron(tkbarron), ordered a Jr. Retro to put it on, a natural fit. It turned beautifully (with extra care and light cuts). Can't see 'em in the photo, but there is small glittery flakes in the black resin that really adds that something extra.
I don't expect this one to last too long in my inventory.

Did you turn the cap insert with scrap material?

The finial is included with the kit, that's why I thought it would be just right.
