Updated for sold/claimed blanks.
I'm proud to offer a beautiful selection of Alligator jawbone blanks, each one pressure casted in Alumilite Clear resin.

They are 2 ½" long by about 1" square and contain single jawbone pieces carefully shaped and positioned to maximize "tooth" exposure. The color and character of my example pens are what you can expect when turning them. The top of the bones are deliberately left exposed to assist in tube positioning but in most cases you should be able to drill these blanks on center to achieve great results. These work well for bullet pens and single tube pens like the Wall Street/Sierra.

Careful attention should be given to turning Alligator bone. It is a hard yet porous material that requires VERY sharp tools and liberal doses of CA. It is recommended that you wear a dust mask and use heavy ventilation. It is also recommended that you either back paint the blanks or paint the tubes black, especially the gold and red blanks as they are somewhat translucent.

Warning! In case you haven't heard, this stuff really stinks while turning. Once properly sealed and finished, they are like most other materials - smooth, clean and odor freeJ
