Very nice calls.
Coco is the best and the worst choice of wood for calls.
The antler is very unique.
Your attempt at a natural background for the pictures is to be commended.
However, it presents a confusing overall picture. Suggest you keep it plain.

I really like your calls. I havent made any yet, but its at the top of my "to do" list. I love the cocobolo when its freshly turned. I just wish it didnt darken in time. The elk antler is my favorite. Finally a solution to what to use those large main beams for. lol Nice work!

Why is coco the best and worst for calls? Have you had problems with coco? Thanks for the pic taking suggestion. I can see your point.

You have made some nice looking calls and the Elk looks especially nice.

Cocobolo is a beautiful wood and works nice. It is also oily which makes it difficult to apply some finishes - not all, but some. It is also reactive to some people and that has the possibility to make it a real problem. Since I have a pretty decent supply of cocobolo and know of the problem with some people reacting, I have gone to a two piece call with the mouthpiece made from something other than Cocobolo.
