I was gonna post a thread asking if anybody else is not getting notification emails from here. Then I thought to check the spam folder in Gmail. (I forget about that now that they hide it behind the "6 more" link...)

Whoops! Gmail's been "helping" by marking IAP messages as spam.

Sigh...

IAP is not spam, it is our source of pen making info. Shame on G-mail, Bad G-mail. LOL

Does anyone happen to know how to correct that on the iPhone, or is that something I need to fix on my main account? Strangely enough my IAP mail doesn't get flagged as spam but a lot of other stuff does, and I can't figure out how to let it accept some of it? :question:

Whitelisting is not handled on your phone, but in your Gmail account.


To make sure Gmail never filters, as spam, mail from a certain contact or domain:

• Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
• Go to Filters.
• Click Create a new filter.
• Type the desired email address under From:.
  • To whitelist an entire domain (all mail from an address ending in "penturners.org", for example), type the just the domain name or the domain name preceded by '@'. To whitelist "penturners.org", for instance, type "@penturners.org" (not including the quotation marks).

Since you have Gmail, look into using the Google Reader. All you do is click the "Add Subscription" button, Type in the penturners dot org forward slash forum... What is nice, is that I can read all the new threads. If I want to chime in on one I just click the title that is in blue. It brings me to here, if I have to log back in, I do. then I go from there.
