G,day fellow pen turners my name is Steve Lowe. and as the title says I live in Australia.Like a lot of newbies I am new to turning. My experence with wood is manly making furniture and things like that in my spare time. As a kid at school I was always asking the teacher to let me use the lafte but he never did let me use it so i never got the oppertunity to. But now in a later life and at the point of slowing down a bit was the perfect time to have a look at that past interest and I am hopeing to pick up a lot of tips and advise and maybe in time be able to post a pic or two of some finnished pen for everyone to look at and maybe give feed back from you guys.Any way hope to be chating with you all in the future
