Funky Segments (Hey, Angela)

This is from some of the stuff I got at an auction a few weeks ago. Segmented glue-up of Purpleheart (lower barrel), Yellowheart, Padauk, Maple, and ???? on 8mm Designer, CA finish. This was a bear to turn. Much of the wood is x-cut and very light cuts was required to keep it from chipping out. The different densities also presented a unique challenge.

Now THAT'S an eclectic pen! I like the variety of the design though many won't. Good job on the assembly and finish (as usual). I don't think it will have a problem finding a good home.
