full sized gent question

Are the black threads on a full sized gent nib section plastic or metal like the rhodium version?

Unless they have changed recently, they are metal. The black is some sort of paint or powder coating. The threads inside the cap barrel are plastic.

The threads are plastic on the full size. depending on what model you get, you will either get the fine threaded one or the wide threaded one (which I think looks better). But either way you dont have to worry about the full size gent threads breaking.
