I have just started turning pens about 2 weeks ago. I went to the Woodworking show here in Minneapolis and made my first pen with Kirk Deheer. After I saw the finished product and showed it to a few people at work I was hooked. I wen't out and spend a lot of money
I have already had a great review from a local turner who sells high end bowls. He stopped into work and used my pen and was excited that I am also taking up this hobby. I have also already sold a few at work! I am hoping to make a little extra cash with this new found addiction. I do have a background in furniture making and cabinets but never got into turning until recently.
I have been on the IAP website everyday trying to learn as I go! Thanks for all the helpful information!!!
