I visited my father-in-law a couple of weeks ago and brought home this bandsaw. It needed new tires but apparently dirt devil vacuum belts work just fine. I finally cleaned it up and was able to cut some blanks on it. I think it will work really well for segmenting which is what I wanted it for. It still needs fine tuned though. Does anyone know if there are replacement blade guides for this? Something nicer maybe? Also has anyone upgraded or strengthened the table? It is pretty flimsy. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Years and years ago, I had one of those that I bought at a yard sale. If it works for you, great!

You can likely buy blades off the internet if you know the length you need.

Model Number Search : eReplacementParts.com craftsman band saws. Do a google search for the model and you will find the length you need. 59 inches maybe? then you can buy any brand that is that long. Doesnt have to be craftsman brand.
