I was fortunate to win a BOB from Mark in the recent casting contest. Mark sent an outstanding assortment blanks, including one of his segmented masterpieces. At first glance it just screamed fountain pen … so here it is. Thanks again Mark!

I'll admit to being biased, but that is a mighty nice pen. I turn very few designs after making 1-2, so it's nice to see these blanks in finished form.

You did an excellent job in all respects.

And yes Ernie, "Frankie" has to earn his keep (my Frankenstein lathe with no motor). He has actually paid for himself several times over.

Thanks for the comments, Mark did most of the work on this one. The most difficult part for me was drilling the holes, square to the blank, for the tubes …
