My first fountain pen Jr. Statesman dressed in alternate ivory and aluminum.
After an e-mail discussion with Eagle about sine wave pens I did some research and came up with this pattern. It is a three phase sine wave with a amplitude of ¼†and a frequency of once every three inches. That should get an electrical engineer excited
Scrolling the alternate ivory was a challenge as the blank arrives as a rod. So I had to "put a round peg into a square hole" so that I could cut it.
Drilling the blank is always the most stressful part of the whole process. But after some tips from Eagle my success ratio seems to be improving.
As always your comments and critiques are appreciated. Thanks for looking.
