I'm guessing that those are brass shavings in resin, but it came out great! It really does look like fossilised sea creatures. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, now I regret taking this blank out of my cart on my last ExoticBlanks.com order.

Being brass, I assume they were soft and easy to turn, did you notice and difficulties. And as far as painting tube, did you use a matching color?
