I need to know which contest each of you would like to chair. I have asked Chuck to take casting so Eric and Johnathan can play. I can do kitless, That Leaves Kit, Cigar etc, and Slimline. Let me know if you have a preference.
 
Ed has spoken for the Kit roller/ fountain. I would also relinquish the 14-16 y/o youth if some one would rather run that. I have no problem bringing in more help to run a contest.

All of you might want to use the forum tools to follow the forum threads, that way if you dont post in a particular thread you can still follow it and be kept in the loop.
 
Someone left the back door open so I let myself in. Now that I'm here though, let me introduce myself. I'm Derek and I'll be stealing all of your contest participants.
 
I have an opening for the 14+16 year olds. Might open it up to any pen this year not just a ball point. I am also open to suggestions if you have something in mind. Maybe another Horn/bone
 
Ed's father has passed away. He will be busy with the important things in life. Our condolences to Ed and his family.
 
Great, Ill bet running one lil ole contest will be a breeze next to a whole bash! Why it might even be exciting and fun.

Yes. It turns out that I am going to be taking a couple of trips in August but I don't think I'll be so busy that I can't keep an eye on things.
 
As of right now Jeff has created a sub forum under the activities manager forum for us and will show it Friday at which Time I will kick it off the event. I do not have much of a response on prizes other than for the youth contests. At this time I am going to run the contests as bragging rights and glory over prizes. I will ask the general membership for prizes aimed at the youth but unless there is an out pouring of prizes Im trying not to compete with the Ability of Andrew to raise prizes for the Bash. Be prepared to post your contest Friday in the new Forum and start promoting it. If you need me to post your rules and contest for you let me know and have a finished set of rules ready to go.
Contests will start accepting entries on Friday August 1st and stop on Monday August 18th. If there are any questions or concerns post or contact me.
 
The contest forum is up and running you can click on it on top of the featured pen Picture on the front page and start loading your contest rules.
 
I have added prizes to your contests in the original posts. They are under the Red Word "
Prizes."
