Do you ever come across the classic old "Detroit Agate" style of Fordite anymore? The stuff that had all the intricate detail with the warped and twisted layers of paint that really end up looking like an agate once polished up?

it certainly is much more rare these days. I do see folks selling the "drip" kind of Fordite, which is most often what you see when you see so many swirly layers. Those pieces are usually too thin for pen making. For solid, larger pieces to have warps and twists - now thats pretty rare.
