Hello Fellow Turners!

I recently bought four slabs of Fordite (Michigan) and cut them up into pen blanks- Fun, Colorful, and unique. These are Great sizes including Some OVERSIZE and regular pen blank size.( There's a lot of trimming and sizing to get a true pen blank...) I discovered some blues and oranges in these pieces as I was cutting them, but obviously the colors you achieve will vary. I'm told there is snazzberry in these pieces too...

I am organizing them by block in case you want one or two from different slabs... Here we go:

"Gray slab":
Approx. 3/4 square by 5 inch- $28
Approx. 3/4 square by 4.75 inch- $25
Irregular piece approx. 3/4 by 1 inch by 5 inches- $30- SOLD

"Blue slab"
Approx. 3/4 square by 5.5 inch- $30
Approx. 3/4 square by 5.875 inch- $32

"Red Slab"
Approx. 7/8 inch square by 4.5 inches- $38
Approx. 1 inch square by 5 inches- $40 (large, solid piece) only one of these - SOLD
Approx. 1 inch square by 3 inches- $30 (large, solid piece) only two of these

"White Slab"
Approx. 3/4 square by 5.25 inch- $28
Approx. 3/4 square by 5.5 inch- $29
Approx. 3/4 square by 5.75 inch- $30

Shipping is $5 for up to 5 or $8 for 6 or more (Conus)

REMEMBER- Fordite is sometimes brittle, Be careful, Use Sharp tools. Remember that these are layers of paint and pressure can separate the layers. Some turners just use sandpaper to shape these pens. Fill cracks or voids with CA and a sanding slurry if needed.

Please make a claiming post below and I will send a PM!

Ben

I'd like the $25 and $28 gray slab (the one in the first picture, I think that's gray?), the $28 white slab, and the $30 blue slab,

Thanks!!

HI Ben;

For all the pieces selected I'd like as much "curl" ( deformaties from drips, etc) as possible...if possible...thanks

I'd like :
Grey :....the irregular piece for $30 and 1 @ 5"

Blue: 1 @ 3/4" x 5.5"

White 1 @ 3/4" x 5.75"

Red: 1 @ 7/8"

Thanks

Greg

PM'd already, but I'd be interested in some of the 3/4" square pieces of any color, if available still. I'll take up to 5 of the blanks
