When I first mounted this blank, it was supposed to go on chrome European hardware. Wasn't meant to be!! Wasn't paying close attention to my calipers & overturned. Next option was a Streamline - pretty proud of myself for recovering like this!!!! And guess what ........... :mad: ! Fortunately I found a Chic-Line kit that saved the day!
What's the old saying, "Measure twice, cut once" - sounds like a sign I should out over my lathe!

As others have commented, great recovery and great looking pen. I have made many of these for women who like slim pens, however I can't remember ever seeing a Chic-Line pen posted here before. If you have some lady friends or customers, I would highly recommend you give these a try as I have had very positive feedback with these...
