Rick:

When we briefly spoke on the phone recently I was very grateful for how the conversation ended and wanted to say thanks, you made a bright spot in a very dreary day for me. I am glad to see you making improvements to your business.

Dan:

From a quick iap/google search http://www.penturners.org/forum/f18/anybody-know-who-114819/

- Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our pen turnings.

Everyone:

That line pretty much sums it up good. There are a good hefty number of users that share the same chain of events and I would like to go on the record to say that majority of the community has an intricate bond between each other in that we share the same goals, hobby, passions, inspirations and for the overwhelming majority the moral and ethical realms.

I would also like to encourage everyone to keep this civil and proactive. Meaning look forward to how can we as individuals, as a community and as a business move forward and become better at what we do. Please don't let the actions of a few drag you down.

Wow guys, you blow me away, I just want to thank you for the support and apologize for sending this guy your way. I had no idea know bad it was. I been thru nothing but verbal abuse for the last week so hopefully this nightmare is over for me. God Bless and Thanks again.

Sadly...it's much worse than what's been said so far. I ended my involvement with PenzRus also.

Rick, I'm glad we got to talk yesterday. You weren't at fault for any of us getting involved in all this. I don't think any of us had a clue as to the roller coaster ride we got to go on!

I'm sorry you guys all got hit by this person. It stared back around August/September when I wouldn't sell a pen (a Marla's feathers pen at that) at a low price he wanted to pay. A lot of drama went on for a couple weeks via etsy messages that I won't go into but it ended when I stopped responding and he then started up his own venture and threatened to put me out of business (hard to do that when this is a hobby for me).

Thankfully I never gave out my phone number, I stuck with electronic messages, where there's record of what was said if I had need for it. Rather than stir up trouble I simply stopped communicating with him.

I thought that was the end of it until I heard from Ed that others on here had been approached. I hope nobody was hurt by their dealings with him.

I remembered the original post when this guy PM'd me, not once, but twice on two separate pens.
I ignored them based on the post. Even though some proclaimed it as bashing, I found it as informative and thanks those who brought it to light.
I'm sorry for those of you that had a bad experience, but because of the community here, I was able to avoid it.

THANK YOU!!!

Preston he is not a vendor, he is an individual reselling pens. He may make some of the pens he sells but it seems he has someone else make at least part of them for him and he markets and sells them.
