There is a frost advisory for parts of Alaska for tonight and there is new snow on mount Matanuska...........surely a break in the heat cant be far behind for you.
We are ready for the heat to end here in N Texas. We've had 73 days over 100. Two strings of consecutive days: 19 consecutive then it cooled off for a few days and only reached 99 and now we've had 47 consecutive days 100 or more with 45 of those 47 105 or more. No measureable rain for 57 days and that was only .12 inches. We are approx 20 inches behind our average since last Nov.
I'm with Seamus...bring on the snow.
Do a good turn daily!
Don
It is too hot here in Delaware also...and too humid. But, the grass is green, the flowere are blooming and I do NOT really need snow anywhere within 500 miles thank you.
My trees have already started dropping leaves. Apparently they think they have too much clothes on too.
I was thinking about moving to Alaska a couple years ago. This makes me wish I'd pulled the trigger. Then I see the temp in Sligo Ireland (mid 60's) and want a second honeymoon.
