If you were to say there is one book to read to learn (at a beginning level) how to use a metal lathe......which would it be? :biggrin:

Thinking of trying a metal lathe just to learn and already I am confused.

All kinds of books available, but it is probably easier to make a couple of machinist friends and pick their brains (as I did) and read some of the blogs and discussion groups on the Internet.
