I know that there is at least one family on here that is in the process of an adoption. My dear friends Ben & Julie Agee left with two of their children for China on Thursday, where they will be adopting two Chinese girls.

They are keeping us up to date via their blog. If you would life to follow along, here is their blog site.

Thanks for looking and please keep them in your prayers.

Both children are "special needs." They age out of the system at age 14. Sara's birthday is in just a few weeks. Because they are girls and "special needs," they neither one have much future in China. But yes, it will be a big adjustment.

We all adjust to things in life...this to is doable! I adopted both my kids at 1 and 3...brother and sister. They are 19 and 21 now and both amazing people!! The oddest thing they deal with is when people ask me (with them next to me) "Don't you with you'd had your own?" Ben and Julie are heros and all the best to them and their family!!

I have been the Agee's pastor for the past four years. They are indeed very special people. I hope that I have taught them as much as they have taught me. If you read the whole blog, you will see not only how God moved in their hearts to bring about these adoptions. But you will also see where He led them on a great George Muller type leap of faith. It has been so very exciting to see how God worked through the prayers of His people.

As we had dinner with them this past Tuesday evening, it was both exciting and sad. My family is packing out our house to move to Melbourne, FL to take over as senior pastor of a church down there. It is only three hours down the road, and I know our families will stay in close touch. But, my children, wife and I are all moving away from our best friends. As I challenged my church to chase Jesus, we are doing the same thing. In so doing, we are being separated from some of the dearest friends I have ever known.
