FOG wood pen

This pen is made from FOG wood (Found On Ground) that I rescued yesterday on my morning walk. I don't know what tree donated the piece. I think the tree would agree that its donation (sacrifice) turned out quite well. :glasses-nerdy:

Any chance of retracing your steps, in case as the Adage says "The Fruit doesn't fall far from the Tree", the same may apply to a Piece of Wood. Worth a visit.

Some of the best looking pens I have done were FOG wood. Nice pen! Used to work with a guy that every time I brought on e in, he would buy it. Found branch in a park under the leaves, blackjack I believe is what I would find.
