I'm going to give you all a break from my posts! I am leaving tomorrow morning for Pensacola. My daughter is in the Navy and is having (hopefully) minor surgery on Friday. My wife just started a new job and can't go, so I get to be the chief worrier and nursemaid. Please keep my daughter in your thoughts, and I'll "see" you next Wednesday.

William, If I wasn't going to the Atlanta Woodworking show, I'd come over to Pensacola and buy you a cup of coffee. I only live 45 miles east of there.

I will have your daughter in my prayers and thoughts. Give us an update after the surgery if you can

Hey Cav .. have a safe trip. We'll be praying for your daughter. Leave your winter coat at home.

James ..... I'm still planning on hitting the Atlanta Woodworking show on Friday. There's a slight chance I may end up going on Saturday. When are you driving up to GA? You're coming up I-75, correct?

William,
Have a safe and totally uneventful trip. I'll keep your daughter in my prayers. Who's going to watch all these grammatically challenged folks with you gone?[:D]

There is an echo in here.

Al, I am traveling to Gadsden, AL tomorrow on business and will be driving over to Atlanta Friday afternoon from there. My daughter lives in Atlanta and I will be staying at her house.

Try and come to the show on Saturday and meet several of us at the woodturning exhibit at 11 AM. I'll even buy coffee.

Cav,
Have a safe and uneventful trip! Best wishes to your daughter for a successful surgery, and a speedy and full recovery.

William,

Have a safe trip and prayers on the way. Hope your daughter recover completely and fast.

We will behave so don't worry about us [:D][;)]

William,
Have a good flight; bring warm clothes--the weather isn't gonna be too good.
If you get further east, holler. I'm near Gainesville.
Best to your daughter. Thank her for her service to all of us.

William,

If you should require any emergency assistance I have relatives that live in the Pensacola area I can contact. The base there is one of the more beautiful areas, and if you have a chance I would definitely recommend exploring the area. You should find some interesting wood. I was down there in May and they were still clearing bunches and bunches of trees from the area from all the hurricanes. My aunt had 26 trees on her property come down from Ivan.

Well, Cav, nothin' wrong with a few days in the sunshine!!!!

We will keep your daughter in our prayers.

How long do you expect I cn spill evrthin rong, before youse comes back???

I can't turn my back on you for a minute, can I Ed?!?!?

Ha, you didn't know my daughter had a laptop with a wifi connection, did you? Now shape up and spell correctly!

Jessica is doing well. They were able to do the surgery through a scope yesterday. Today they let me take her to the hotel to recover for a few days before I have to take her back to the barracks and fly home to the snow and cold.

Thanks for all your good wishes (even you, Ed.[;)])

Hey, everyone. I drove home from the Harrisburg, PA airport tonight in a snow squall. To my Louisiana eyes, it was a white out! [:0] The two hour trip took a bit longer tonight.

Jessica is doing well and is nearly off Vicodin. She is still sore, but Motrin is enough for the most part. She will be re-evaluated on 12 February to see if she can return to duty.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and good wishes. We really appreciate our IAP family.
