I've been working on something way out of my league; this is what I started Sunday and finished tonight.

Gold TN Baron Rollerball with Curly Bubinga, Ebony (thanks Dario), and Maple.

Feel free to criticize the work, I've probably already seen all the flaws.

I don't think you are batting out of
your league at all.You executed an idea
and brought it to completion.
I'm sure the flaws you see will be improved
in your next one;there will be a next one, right??
Interesting work, must have taken some time
and planning.
I think it's a keeper.[:D]

I agree with Johnny, its a keeper and right back at you Gary You just get better and better and better. Beautiful.

very cool. i've had that same idea... congrats on putting it into practice! beautiful.

gary, i can't tell if it's the picture or not, but do you have a few dull spots on your finish? i've been having the same problem lately... can't tell exactly what's causing it except for uneven CA...

Thanks y'all. This one took me a lot of time and was a good learning experience. It ain't a keeper though -- not for me anyway since it was a custom order. I will do another one with some changes and enhancements. I've got to perfect my finishing; some days I hit it spot on, others I struggle.
