I don't do a lot of themed pens, but can't resist doing one now and then. This is a PSI Fly Fishing rollerball in hybrid maple burl and alumilite from JakobJanssenStudios store on Etsy. I've had good experience with his blanks. The finish is a few layers of medium, and then thin, GluBoost, wet sanded/polished through the Zona grits. I left the lower barrel slightly bulged to resemble a fishing pole grip.
Normally, I just use TBC Jr bushings with everything that takes 10.5 and 12.5 tubes and then use calipers to get to the final size, but the cap barrel wasn't even long enough to fit between them, so I just did it completely TBC. The clip end is slightly under-turned, but I'm not going to pull it apart for something that isn't that noticeable until you see it in larger than life pictures. The cap is magnetic, which I had not realized when I ordered it. It holds well, but they don't feel very secure compared to the standard threaded caps.
