Just a novelty hourglass component set, I thought would portray a timely and fitting story. Body is made of Southern Florida Pine, from a board taken off the house my father built when I was born on the gulf coast of Florida. That house no longer exists. The wood is extremely hard, and feels nearly petrified. It took nearly a day to drill it out with a brad point drill, letting the wood and pen cool off before attempting a few more centimeters... Finished with Pens Plus. Thought this would make an appropriate gift for one of my siblings.
